Cash for College is a virtual event that will take place via ZOOM on Wednesday, November 17 from 5:30-7:30 pm. This is the ZOOM link: https://scoe.zoom.us/j/92107889724 (no password required!)

• A college financial aid expert will walk students and their families through the entire application. There will also be an option for Breakout rooms for families to work one-on-one with financial aid experts.
• During Cash for College, students planning to attend college (4 year university, community college and vocation school programs) in Fall 2022 will get help filling out FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADAA). Trained volunteers and financial aid experts will be available to help.

Things to have ready prior to the day of Cash for College:

• Today or as soon as possible, create an FSA ID
• For Cash for College, things to have with you:
  • If possible, your parent
  • Social Security Card, if you have one
  • Alien Registration Card, if you have one
  • List of Colleges you are interested in
  • Your parents’ most current bank statements
  • Any records of untaxed income
  • Your parents’ tax information from the year 2020
