Humanities or Business? The local chapter of the NAACP will
be hosting a virtual competition for African-American high school
students in various categories. See attached flyer for more info.
There is a fillable application form that needs to be submitted
September 15th to October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month; there
is a strong tradition of murals as a form of artistic expression
and social protest.
Over the years, Luther Burbank students have created multiple
murals that send a strong visual message to our community as we
walk through the halls. Although we are not currently open due to

required to take regular tests. (You only need to complete the
sign-up form once, then you can drop-in for testing.)
