After graduating from high school, many students choose to enroll in the Los Rios Community College system, which includes four local community colleges: Sac City College, Cosumnes River College, American River College and Folsom Lake College. Los Rios offers students the opportunity to complete their first two years of classes before transferring to a four-year opportunity, as well as two-year programs that prepare students for a variety of exciting careers.

Additionally, many students can earn college credit by taking community college classes while they are still in high school!
