Cleanup Event at Luther Burbank High School
With the support of Ms. Synhorst, Mr. McPherson, and countless other staff and community partners (including the Sacramento Kings), we had a great event for our school and surrounding areas on Thursday, March 23rd.

2021 ACT-SO Competition

Do you have a talent in STEM, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Humanities or Business? The local chapter of the NAACP will be hosting a virtual competition for African-American high school students in various categories. See attached flyer for more info. There is a fillable application form that needs to be submitted by 3/17/2021.
Murals on LBHS Campus
September 15th to October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month; there is a strong tradition of murals as a form of artistic expression and social protest.
Over the years, Luther Burbank students have created multiple murals that send a strong visual message to our community as we walk through the halls. Although we are not currently open due to the COVID-19 closure, you can view some of these murals in the pictures below.
